Default Mile High Sports Returns To Denver

    From Radio Insight:

Mile High Sports Radio is relaunching in Denver on its fourth frequency.
Nate Lundy’s Flying Penguin Productions has begun operating the “Mile High Sports Radio” brand on Mountain Community Translators’ 98.1 K251CV Golden CO fed via Entercom’s 107.5 KQKS-HD3 Lakewood.
The brand was most recently heard on-air on 1340 KDCO and 104.7 K284CI until each was sold separately in late 2020. “Mile High Sports Radio” originally launched in 2007 on on 1510 KCKK/93.7 K229BS. It then moved to 94.1 K284BR/107.5 KQKS-HD2 in 2013 and 1340 KDCO in 2015.
The station currently features local programming from 8am-12pm and 4-6pm with Lundy promising new shows expected to launch in the coming weeks. SportsMap Radio network programming fills out the station’s lineup.
The return of Mile High Sports Radio brings the number of Sports formatted stations in the market to six with it joining Bonneville’s “104.3 The Fan” KKFN and “ESPN Denver 1600” KEPN, KSE Media’s “Altitude Sports Radio” 92.5 KKSE-FM and “Altitude 950 Fox Sports” KKSE, and Entercom’s “1430 The Bet” KEZW.
K251CV most recently rebroadcast University of Colorado’s student-run “Radio 1190” KVCU Boulder.

I would imagine that both of those listeners are thrilled to have it back. Just at joke I made, as there are actually 5 listeners.
