When radio was young, Ray Durkee's "Sunday at the Memories" was a vibrant nostalgia show, launched at Denver's KHOW and eventually popular enough to be syndicated to more than 100 radio stations nationally. The local ratings were huge, even beating a Broncos broadcast. Durkee's son James is now digitizing his dad's reel-to-reel tapes, posting a sample online, inviting downloads, and talking to a couple of local stations (other than KHOW) about a reprise.
