Flinn Broadcasting has flipped R&B/Gospel “WAVN The Trend” 1240 WMSO Southaven MS/104.1 W281BR Memphis TN to Regional Mexican “El Gallo 104.1“.
The change comes with a move to a new LMA operator as the three year deal with Telisa Franklin has come to an end. The “El Gallo” brand is operated by Steven Lara’s Gorilla Broadcasting, who also leases 107.1 KRQN Vinton/Cedar Rapids IA from Flinn. Lara also owns or operates “El Gallo” branded stations in Myrtle Beach SC, Americus GA, and Smithfield NC and is in the process of purchasing WYYZ Jasper GA.
