Dan Mitchell Joins Westwood One Classic Rock Format For Afternoons

DENVER afternoon mainstay DAN MITCHELL has joined WESTWOOD ONE to anchor afternoons for the company’s Classic Rock 24-hour format, which airs on 129 stations nationwide.
MITCHELL joins WESTWOOD ONE after eight years with ENTERCOM Classic Rock KQMT (99.5 THE MOUNTAIN)/DENVER, where he had the top-rated afternoon show in the city. Throughout his 36-year career, he has worked at several legendary radio stations and also spent nine years in the earlier days of satellite-delivered radio formats on the former JONES RADIO’s Classic Rock format. He’s collected numerous prestigious awards from the COLORADO BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION, including “Top Radio Personality.”
