More FM Translators For Denver AM Stations
Here's the latest translator moves to the Denver area that have been filed with the FCC that I have been able to find:
AM Stations on FM:
K210EC 89.9 FM Douglas WY moves to Denver, to 99.1 FM and will carry KGNU 1390 AM.
K255BL 98.9 FM Craig moves to Denver (with 2KW of power!) and will carry KPOF 910 AM.
K281BW 104.1 FM Cheyenne, WY moves to Denver, to 97.7 FM and will carry KBNO 1280 AM.
K244AB 96.7 FM Gunnison moves to Denver, to 96.9 FM and will carry KKCL 1550 AM. That adds a second translator at 96.9 FM for KKCL, the first, K245AD is in Golden.
K262BV 100.3 FM Cheyenne WY moves to Englewood, to 96.1 FM and will carry KNRV 1150 AM.
K266BP 101.1 FM Craig moves to Brighton, to 95.1 FM and will carry KLTT 690 AM.
K261EO 100.1 FM Oak Creek moves to Ft. Lupton, to 94.3 FM and will carry KLVZ 810 AM.
FM Stations:
K268CK 101.5 FM Golden moves to 90.7 FM with more power and will carry KLDV 91.1 FM.

Surprised the trans-specu-lators hadn't already set up shop on the Springs' full power freqs. I think all the suitable Denver full power freqs have already been covered in the Springs with translators or LPFMs.

Interesting how the FCC allowed this? Since a few years ago I was told the Denver Market is closed for any new move ins? Plus, for 99.1 and 96.1, wouldn't there be bleed thru? Since 99.1 has K99 and 96.1 has KISS FM?
To full power station that can be heard in Denver! Also with 94.3? Kilo and Max FM? Why does KLDV need a repeater? The 91.1 Frequency is powerful enough and can be heard all over the Front Range!
