Default Former KYGO/Denver Morning Co-Host 'Jackson' Suing Taylor Swift. UPDATE: Swift Counter Sues And Wins.

Ok. here is a very interesting news story from FOX 31 news about how a DJ got fired for something he didn't do:

DENVER — A former Colorado radio DJ sued Taylor Swift this week, after accusations that he “grabbed her bottom” got him fired from his job, according to a lawsuit filed in District Court.

In June 2013, David Mueller, known in Denver’s airwaves as “Jackson,” attended a Swift concert meet-and-greet with his girlfriend and co-worker Shannon Melcher. The backstage event was part of his job duties with station KYGO, where he was often required to interact with celebrities, according to court documents.

Mueller and Melcher greeted Swift and had their picture taken with her. That picture is at the center of the dispute.

Swift allegedly claimed that Mueller lifted her “skirt with his hands and grabbed her bottom.” Following her claim, Swift’s security team surrounded Mueller and Melcher and removed them from the concert grounds. Then after a string of phone calls between Swift’s management team and the station, Mueller was fired, the lawsuit alleged.

Mueller maintains he never inappropriately touched Swift. The DJ alleges someone else at the station told him he had “put his arms around her, hands on her bottom.”

“The contention that Mr. Mueller lifted up Ms. Swift’s skirt and grabbed her bottom, while standing with his girlfriend, in front of Ms. Swift’s photographer and Ms. Swift’s highly trained security personnel, during a company sponsored, VIP, backstage meet-and-greet, is nonsense, particularly given that Ms. Swift’s skirt is in place and is not being lifted by Mr. Mueller’s hand in the photograph,” said the lawsuit.

“The radio station was given evidence immediately after the incident. They made their independent decision,” Swift’s spokeswoman Tree Paine told CNN via email.

A response asking her to be more specific about the evidence was not answered.

The lawsuit claims the photo was described as “damning” by Swift’s managers. But Mueller contends it is anything but.

In “the photograph, Ms. Swift is smiling and hugging Ms. Melcher. Although Mr. Mueller’s hand is behind Ms. Swift and therefore not visible, it is clear that her skirt is in place and is not being lifted by Mr. Mueller’s hand,” said the lawsuit. “Similarly, Ms. Swift’s hand is behind Mr. Mueller and therefore not visible.”

CNN has not independently seen the photograph. A request to Mueller’s attorney was not immediately answered.

The lawsuit looks to recuperate Mueller’s lost income. At the time, he was making $150,000 a year. Mueller’s radio career spans over 20 years, according to court documents.

If anyone has the picture, please post it here. I wonder why he waited 2 years to file...
An interesting situation, to say the least.

I recollect Ryno on KYGO on the air when someone asked what happened to Jackson saying that Jackson left the area to deal with some "personal" issues. Never liked Ryno and Jackson, but I find Ryno and Tracy tolerable.

Default Former KYGO Air Talent Jackson Sues Taylor Swift

    From Radio Online:

Former KYGO-FM/Denver air talent David Mueller (aka Jackson) has filed suit in U.S. District Court against Taylor Swift seeking lost wages for getting him fired after Swift allegedly claimed that he lifted her skirt and grabbed her bottom during a VIP meet and greet before her concert in June, 2013. Shortly after the alleged incident, Mueller and co-worker Shannon Melcher were removed from the concert grounds. Then, the lawsuit said, Swift's management team contacted station management and had him fired.

"The contention that Mr. Mueller lifted up Ms. Swift's skirt and grabbed her bottom, while standing with his girlfriend, in front of Ms. Swift's photographer and Ms. Swift's highly trained security personnel, during a company sponsored, VIP, backstage meet-and-greet, is nonsense, particularly given that Ms. Swift's skirt is in place and is not being lifted by Mr. Mueller's hand in the photograph," the lawsuit said.

Mueller maintains he never inappropriately touched Swift and that the photo that was described as "damning" by Swift's managers, is anything but.

In "the photograph, Ms. Swift is smiling and hugging Ms. Melcher. Although Mr. Mueller's hand is behind Ms. Swift and therefore not visible, it is clear that her skirt is in place and is not being lifted by Mr. Mueller's hand," said the lawsuit. "Similarly, Ms. Swift's hand is behind Mr. Mueller and therefore not visible."

Default Former KYGO/Denver Morning Co-Host 'Jackson' Suing Taylor Swift

    From All Access:

Former KYGO/DENVER morning co-host DAVID MUELLER -- known as “JACKSON” when paired with RYNO for the station’s former “RYNO AND JACKSON” morning configuration -- has filed suit against TAYLOR SWIFT, saying the superstar is responsible for his JUNE, 2013 dismissal from the station.

Following a meet and greet session prior to SWIFT’s JUNE 2013 concert, MUELLER was removed from the venue by SWIFT’s security team after SWIFT had allegedly claimed MUELLER touched her inappropriately during a photo opportunity.

MUELLER exited KYGO soon after the incident. His lawsuit disputes allegations of inappropriate contact with SWIFT, claiming conversations between SWIFT’s management and station management ultimately lead to his firing. He seeks to recover lost income as a result.

MUELLER was said to be earning $150,000 annually.

“The radio station was given evidence immediately after the incident. They made their independent decision," SWIFT’s publicist TREE PAINE told ALL ACCESS.

RYNO has remained with KYGO, and is currently teamed with TRACY DIXON, who joined the show weeks after MUELLER’s exit.

MUELLER was a 20-year industry vet, whose radio resume includes time with NINEBALL RADIO NETWORKS show prep service, iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 KDWB/ MINNEAPOLIS and Top 40 WNCI/ COLUMBUS and MIDWEST TELEVISION Adult Hits KFMB-F (100.7 JACK FM)/ SAN DIEGO.

Default 'Ryno' Mueller Vs. Taylor Swift Suit Getting Messier

    From All Access:

An already uncomfortable story has now evolved into nothing short of awkward, as more details emerge about the lawsuit former KYGO/DENVER morning man DAVID MUELLER – known as “JACKSON” then – has filed against TAYLOR SWIFT. MUELLER claims she is responsible for his JUNE 2013 dismissal from the station.

To quickly recap, SWIFT’s team accused MUELLER of allegedly touching her inappropriately during a photo opportunity at her JUNE 2013 DENVER show. Days later, MUELLER was fired. MUELLER has maintained his innocence, saying another station employee touched SWIFT and in fact, told MUELLER about his actions.

ALL ACCESS has obtained a copy of the lawsuit, in which MUELLER names KYGO PD EDDIE HASKELL as the employee who touched SWIFT and, the suit says, “Described and demonstrated how he [HASKELL] put his arm around her, hands on her bottom and explained that he and one of his friends in the industry think Ms. SWIFT must wear bicycle shorts under her stage outfits.”

Asked to comment, HASKELL told ALL ACCESS exclusively: “His [MUELLER's] accusations are untrue and, in fact, not possible. I was not in the meet & greet MUELLER attended. When I saw TAYLOR we were in a radio room with her management, record label and mother in attendance. After TAYLOR left, her mother took us on a tour of the backstage area. Never was there any implication from the label or management that I was involved in any way, other than being MUELLER's supervisor.”

The suit also claims SWIFT representatives called the station the following day, “looking for specific action” in regards to the incident. During a subsequent call, SWIFT’s team told KYGO GM BOB CALL the SWIFTS were “considering all their options” if KYGO did not “handle” MUELLER. He was released the following day.
As ALL ACCESS previously reported, SWIFT’s publicist TREE PAINE submitted this statement regarding MUELLER's release: “The radio station was given evidence immediately after the incident. They made their independent decision."

In DECEMBER of 2014, MUELLER underwent a polygraph test that showed he was speaking truthfully when he denied inappropriate contact with SWIFT. MUELLER seeks to recover lost income as a result of his release; he was said to be earning $150,000 annually.

This is insane thing! She clearly made the whole thing up! But yet the the people over at KYGO rather read a bunch of lies and think that Mueller really did do it!
I sure hope that once he gets his back pay + damages, that Tylor would stop doing this! Trying to frame and to get into trouble an innocent person, all because she thinks she can get away
with anything?!?! She is so mistakenly wrong, she is no QUEEEN at all! She is a normal person like everyone else is, expect that she thinks she can do this? She needs to grow up and start to act like
an adult instead of this spoil rich kid! So I really do hope Mueller gets his pay and I hope the station GM well write a major apologize for believing such crap!
