Default A curious question about Comedy 103.1

So KYGO was not part of the deal, but i noticed the HD-2 side of KYGO is now owned by Entercom?
How can that be? I mean Comedy 103.1 is just a transmitter side of KYGO? SO how was it part of the deal when it's not an actual radio station?
I don't get it how Lincoln could have sell off Comedy 103.1?

There's a lot of translator owners who don't own the originating station, and vice-versa.

The stations that Entercom sold to Bonneville are still under an operating agreement between the two.

Entercom could easily make one of their stations' HD feeds the originating station of Comedy 103.1, instead of Bonneville's KYGO at any time.

Bonneville has now removed Entercom-owned Comedy 103.1 FM from KYGO 98.5 FM HD-2.
The Christian format on KYGO HD-3 (KTLF Colorado Springs that feeds the 106.3 FM Denver translator), has been moved to KYGO HD-2.

Entercom has added Comedy 103.1 FM to one of their owned stations, KALC 105.9 FM HD-2.
That change replaces the blues format they had there on HD-2.

KOSI 101 also moved over to Orchard Road over the weekend, they made several on air mentions of this last week. So I'd reckon that KS has moved in with the rest of Entercom. Bonneville will have extra space with 950 gone, wonder if they will buy another signal in town? Also Jonathan Wilde is once again working under the same roof as Bob Call. If I recall, wasnt there a dust up with management when he was with KYGO?

What signal could that be? As I remember asking the FCC if there was any more room for an FM station and they told me no, it was closed up. Plus I don;'t think there is any more stations in Denver to buy anyways?
    So who owns KOSI?
If that is true, wow, I wonder if they ever patched things up?

Here's the changes I see from this weekend with these stations when it comes to their HD signals:

KYGO 98.5 FM: Comedy 103.1 FM removed from HD-2. KTLF FM moved from HD-3 to HD-2.
KQMT 99.5 FM: KEZW 1430 AM added to HD-2. Classic Rock "Live Versions" removed from HD-2.
KOSI 101.1 FM: KEZW 1430 AM removed from HD-2.
KKFN 104.3 FM: KRWZ 950 AM removed from HD-2. KEPN 1600 AM moved from HD-3 to HD-2.
KALC 105.9 FM: Comedy 103.1 FM added to HD-2. Blues format removed from HD-2.

So all in all, we lost FM HD Radio feeds for KRWZ, Classic Rock "Live Versions" and a Blues format.

I seriously wonder in Bonneville will put LDS oriented programming on any of the HD channels?

Another question is, as far as owner / operators are concerned, what is Bonneville reputation in the industry? I haven't ever heard much good or bad about them, just they are owned by the LDS Church and are flush with cash.

I've read that Bonneville adds the "Mormon Channel" to all of their markets on one of their HD Radio channels.
