KUNC finishes beg-a-thon early

Congratulations, KUNC, and thank you. You managed to meet your fundraising goals in short order, raising $252,879 in just one day, thereby giving listeners a break.

“KUNC-FM, Community Radio For Northern Colorado, completed its Fall Membership Drive on Tuesday, as 2,034 members donated $252,879 in just one day. The totals exceeded the announced goal of $190,000 and was one of the most successful drives in the station’s history.”

According to the station, the goal was met by 7 p.m. Tuesday, which kicked in the largest-ever challenge grant, “an additional $55,000 donated by a passionate listener in Fort Collins.”
