    From Radio Online:

BIA/Kelsey's released its latest report, summarizing that overall radio station industry revenues remain steady. WTOP/Washington, DC, took the top spot total U.S. radio billings for the fourth consecutive year, with $64 million dollars earned. A closer look at the data reveals an additional interesting trend. All ten of the top 10 billing stations in America broadcast using HD Radio.

Additionally, stations in America using HD Radio technology include 23 of the top 25 billing stations, 48 of the top 50 billing stations, 70 of the top 75 billing stations and 94 of the top 100 billing stations.

iBiquity Digital President/CEO Bob Struble said, "These broadcast industry leaders have also been leaders in technology. They had the vision from the inception of HD Radio Technology to understand that broadcast radio needed a strong digital future to remain competitive. They made the strategic investment in the technology and are now well-positioned to reap the benefits of radio's digital transition."

Today, there are over 2,200 AM & FM stations broadcasting with HD Radio with more than 1,450 additional digital only FM HD2/HD3 multicast channels airing new programming.
