Tim Dunbar Passes Away

ALL ACCESS sends condolences out to the friends and family of HUBBARD BROADCASTING Hot AC KSTP (KS95)/MINNEAPOLIS overnight talent TIM DUNBAR, who passed away on SUNDAY (3/9).

TIM DUNBAR's radio career includes stops in MINNEAPOLIS, DENVER, and MILWAUKEE. According to a post on the KS95 web site, memorial services are pending at this time.

Tim Dunbar was a member here and a longtime Denver radio personality before he moved to Minneapolis 4 or 5 years ago. From what I can remember, he worked at KRXY (Y108) KQKS (KS-104), KOA, KHOW, KRFX, KQMT, KXKL, KIMN and KWOF... and probably more.

He had been battling throat cancer, but had finished treatment on February 19th and was given a good prognosis.
A class act and really good dude. RIP Tim.

Funeral arrangements for HUBBARD BROADCASTING Hot AC KSTP (KS95)/MINNEAPOLIS overnight talent TIM DUNBAR have now been scheduled with visitation on FRIDAY (3/14) from 5-9p at KESSLER AND MAGUIRE FUNERAL HOME, 640 W. 7th St. ST. PAUL, MN and burial on SATURDAY (3/15) at 1p at ST. STANISLAUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 398 Superior Street, ST. PAUL, MN with visitation beginning at 11a.

TIM DUNBAR passed away on SUNDAY (3/9) after a battle with throat cancer. In lieu of flowers donations can go to UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA AMPLANTZ CHILDREN's CANCER RESEARCH CENTER.
