    Default Corporation For Public Broadcasting Grants $1.4 Million For Local Journalism Center On Energy

    The CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING has announced a $1.4 million grant awarded a group of seven public radio and TV stations for the creation of a new multimedia local journalism center focusing on energy issues. ROCKY MOUNTAIN PBS and sister Jazz KUVO/DENVER, COLORADO PUBLIC TELEVISION, WYOMING PUBLIC MEDIA, WYOMING PBS, PRAIRIE PUBLIC BROADCASTING, and COMMUNITY RADIO FOR NORTHERN COLORADO noncommercial News-Talk KUNC/GREELEY, CO are involved in the project.

    CPB President/CEO PAT HARRISON said, “The new center builds on CPB's commitment to the funding of public media news and public affairs content. The LJCs are making an impact locally, regionally and nationally.”
