WRBO Seeks Midday Host As Ms. Eklass Departs

Cumulus Media Adult R&B 103.5 WRBO Como MS/Memphis is conducting a search for a new midday host as Erica ‘Ms. Eklass’ Pierce has exited the company.
The Indianapolis based Ms. Eklass has been with Cumulus since 2015 where she previously hosted middays on Classic Hip Hop “93.9 The Beat” WRWM Indianapolis and currently was heard on WRBO, Rhythmic CHR “Hot 106.3” WWKX Providence, and Westwood One’s Classic Hip Hop network. Prior to joining Cumulus, she spent seven years at Radio One Indianapolis where she was heard on Hip Hop “Hot 96.3” WHHH and Adult R&B 106.7 WTLC-FM.
She shared on Instagram, “It’s been a wild ride, and I’m so grateful for the support from Cumulus and Westwood One. However, sometimes we all need a break to focus on personal growth, especially after experiencing a heavy loss. This decision wasn’t made lightly and certainly didn?t happen overnight. But you know what? Change is necessary for growth. Not too long before her passing, Mama said to let go and let God, and have faith that my next move will be even greater. I?m doing exactly that. So, this isn’t goodbye, my friends, it’s just a “see ya later.” Thank you all for the love and support you’ve shown me throughout the years!”
