    Nielsen Audio has released Day 2 of its monthly four day sweep of ratings in PPM markets.
    Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Seattle, Miami, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Denver, San Diego, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

    Washington DC

    Public News/Talk 88.5 WAMU rises 11.0 to 11.6. Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP is up 8.2 to 9.1. iHeartMedia AC 97.1 WASH gains 6.0 to 7.1. Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 102.3/92.7” WMMJ/WDCJ is up 6.5 to 6.8, while Howard University’s competing 96.3 WHUR slips 6.4 to 5.8.
    Audacy Classic Hits “94.7 The Drive” WIAD drops 4.8 to 3.9. Classical 90.9 WETA-FM slides 3.2 – 2.4 – 2.0. Manning Media Hot AC “Key 103” WAFY Frederick trends up 1.1 – 1.2 – 1.6.
    Boston

    Beasley Media Classic Hits 105.7 WROR barely holds its lead up 6.0 to 6.2. Public News/Talk 90.9 WBUR is right behind up 5.7 to 6.1 with Ratings Expert Chris Huff noting that is its highest share since May 2018. iHeartMedia CHR “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM and Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX both move 5.3 to 5.4. Beasley’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM (down 5.5 to 4.9) and Audacy Hot AC “Mix 104.1” WWBX (3.5 – 4.6 – 4.9) tie for fifth.
    Beasley’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM trends down 8.3 – 5.5 – 4.9, while Country 102.5 WKLB falls 5.3 to 4.3. iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 680 WRKO is down 4.4 – 4.1 – 3.4. Beasley Rhythmic AC “Hot 96.9” WBQT slides 4.0 – 3.7 – 3.1.
    Audacy Variety Hits “Big 103” WBGB jumps up 3.1 to 4.0 which Huff notes is its highest share since its was CHR “Amp Radio” WODS in July 2016.
    Seattle/Tacoma

    Audacy Country “100.7 The Wolf” KKWF rises 6.5 – 7.4 – 7.7 following the demise of “98.9 The Bull” to set a new record high for the frequency. iHeartMedia’s Classic Hits “95.7 The Jet” KJEB moves up to second 6.0 to 6.1, while Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK drops 6.5 to 5.8. Audacy Soft AC “94.1 The Sound” KSWD jumps up 4.8 to 5.7. Bonneville News/Talk 97.3 KIRO-FM is up 4.3 to 4.9.
    Public News/Talk 94.9 KUOW-FM drops 5.6 to 4.5. Bonneville’s “Seattle Sports 710” KIRO is down 4.6 to 4.0. Hubbard CHR “Movin 92.5” KQMV drops 4.9 – 4.5 – 3.6, while iHeartMedia’s “Hits 106.1” KBKS is off 3.1 – 2.9 – 2.6. Crista Media Christian AC “Spirit 105.3” KCMS-FM trends down 2.9 – 2.0 – 1.7.
    Classical 98.1 KING-FM rises 2.0 to 2.8. iHeartMedia Rhythmic CHR “KUBE 93.3” KJR-HD2 rises 0.1 to 0.4 despite no analog signal.
    Miami/Fort Lauderdale

    Two Cox stations tie for the lead as Adult R&B “Hot 105” WHQT falls 8.9 to 8.0 and Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ inches up 7.9 to 8.0. Univision Spanish AC “Amor 107.5” WAMR gains 5.3 to 6.2. Audacy AC “101.5 Lite-FM” WLYF holds at a 5.0 share. Cox Rhythmic Hot AC “Hits 97.3” WFLC dips 4.6 to 4.4.
    Cox Hip Hop “99 Jamz” WEDR slips 4.9 to 4.2.
    iHeartMedia CHR “Y100” WHYI rises 2.9 to 3.7. iHeart Classic Rock “Big 105.9” WBGG-FM is up 2.9 to 3.5.
    After its move to a Rhythmic Gold playlist, Audacy’s “Power 96” WPOW-FM slides 2.5 – 2.2 – 1.7.
    Phoenix

    Hubbard Classic Rock 100.7 KSLX jumps up a share 6.8 to 7.8 for what Huff notes is its highest share since August 2017. Public News/Talk 91.5 KJZZ-FM rises to second 5.6 – 6.3 – 6.5. iHeartMedia AC “99.9 KEZ” KESZ goes 6.5 to 6.3. Desert Valley Media Oldies “The Wow Factor” KOAI moves 5.3 to 5.4. Audacy Classic Hits “Big 94.5” KOOL-FM jumps up 3.4 to 4.4 to tie iHeart Variety Hits “95.5 The Mountain” KYOT (4.3 to 4.4).
    Audacy CHR “Live 101.5” KALV-FM rises 3.5 to 4.1. Hubbard’s “Oldies 92.7” 1440 KAZG doubles its share 1.2 to 2.4.
    iHeartMedia Hot AC “Mix 96.9” KMXP falls 4.9 – 4.5 – 3.6. Entravision Regional Mexican “La Tricolor 103.5” KLNZ drops 2.6 to 1.4. Chavez Radio Group Regional Mexican “La Campesina 101.9” 860 KNAI trends down 1.8 – 1.3 – 0.8.

    iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI surges up 6.2 – 7.2 – 8.1 – 9.6 to shatter the station record high set earlier this year. iHeart Adult R&B “Mix 92.3” WMXD follows in second 6.7 to 7.1. Audacy Sports “97.1 The Ticket” WXYT-FM is third 7.0 to 6.7. Beasley Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX falls 7.1 to 6.2. Audacy Classic Hits 104.3 WOMC is down 6.1 to 5.7.
    Cumulus Hot AC 96.3 WDVD is down 4.4 to 3.8. iHeart Classic Rock 106.7 WLLZ trends up 2.5 – 2.8 – 3.1. WGPR Inc. Hip Hop 107.5 WGPR falls 2.1 – 1.8 – 1.4.
    In its final full monthly before its sale to Family Life Broadcasting, Cumulus’ “New Country 93.1” WDRQ rises 2.4 to 2.8.
    Minneapolis/St. Paul

    Northwestern Media Christian AC 98.5 KTIS-FM has been on a stretch unlike many we have seen for quite some time. KTIS-FM has been up month over month since January where it has risen 5.0 ? 6.1 ? 6.2 ? 8.5 ? 9.5 ? 10.3 – 11.6. Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes that this month’s 11.6 matches the largest non-Christmas music Holiday period for any station in the Minneapolis/St. Paul market since WCCO in Winter 1998.
    Hubbard Hot AC “KS 95” KSTP-FM dips 8.5 to 7.7. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “Kool 108” KQQL is off 7.5 to 7.4. Public News/Talk 91.1 KNOW-FM is up 5.9 to 6.7. iHeartMedia Country “K102” KEEY falls 7.2 to 6.3.

    Beasley Spanish Tropical “Maxima 92.5” WYUU trends down 4.0 – 3.8 – 3.5. SBS’ “El Zol 97.1” WSUN-FM falls 1.2 – 0.8 – 0.6.

    The top of the Denver market tightens up. Audacy Classic Rock “99.5 The Mountain” KQMT (5.5 to 6.2) and KSE Media Classic Hits “Kool 105” KXKL (6.4 to 6.2) tie for first. Bonneville Country 98.5 KYGO is right behind 6.5 to 6.1. iHeartMedia Alternative “Channel 93.3” KTCL continues its trend up 4.6 ? 5.0 ? 5.5 – 5.8 for fourth. iHeartMedia Classic Rock “103.5 The Fox” KRFX dips 5.4 to 5.3.
    Educational Media Foundation’s “K-Love” 91.1 KLDV surges up 3.0 – 3.2 – 4.5. Entravision Regional Mexican “La Tricolor 96.5” KXPK gains 2.4 – 2.6 – 3.5. Audacy Hip Hop “KS 107.5” KQKS trends 2.1 – 2.4 – 2.9.

    Radio One Hip Hop “92Q” WERQ surges up 5.5 to 7.0 to take the Baltimore lead. Huff notes it is WERQ’s largest share since March 2020 and first time atop Baltimore since May 2019. iHeartMedia Variety Hits “102.7 Jack-FM” WQSR rises 6.4 to 6.7. Audacy AC “Today’s 101.9” WLIF falls 7.6 to 6.4. Radio One Adult R&B “Magic 95.9” WWIN-FM fips 5.9 to 5.8. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 106.5” WWMX inches up 5.5 to 5.6.
