Kerby Confer Buys Out Partners In Parkersburg WV Cluster

In addition to his family’s Seven Mountains Media acquiring Forever Communications’ Bowling Green KY stations today, Kerby Confer is buying out his partners in Burbach of DE and their six stations in Parkersburg WV.
Confer, through his Judith Marie Confer Irrevocable Trust, will increase his stake in the company from 30% to 100% as he acquires Nicholas Galli’s 40% share and Donald Alt’s 30% share for $700,000 each. The deal follows Burbach of DE selling their Morgantown/Fairmont WV stations to LHTC Media in June and WGIE Clarksburg WV to Vandalia Media Partners 2 earlier this week.
The stations included in the deal are: CHR “My 95.1 XIL” WXIL Elizabeth, Country “Froggy 99” WGGE Parkersburg, Rock “103.1 The Bear” WHBR-FM Parkersburg, Classic Rock “Z106.1” WRZZ Parkersburg, Classic Country “Willie 1050/94.7” WLYQ/W234DC Parkersburg, and News/Talk 1230 WVNT/103.5 W278CQ Parkersburg.
