Interesting and sad what happened with Radio-Info after Doug Fleming died in 2005.

In case you didn't know, when Fleming who was one of the founders passed away due to a tragic trip to the desert where he was stranded, his parents took over the site since it was in his name and they decided to get rid of the other people involved in founding the site with Doug.

These people were running the day to day operations and doing more of the work, while Doug was behind the scenes. They got screwed on the whole thing.

Lance went on to create RadioInsight. I'm not sure if Tanim stayed or not. The Flemings took the site in another direction and I had been told that they censored a lot of posts if they were about liberal talk radio since they were pro-conservative.

It will be interesting to see what Talkers does with the site.

Several employees of Radio-Info including columnists Phyllis Stark, who wrote the Stark Country newsletter, and Tom Taylor have been let go. And their sales staff including Kristy Scott.

Talkers is now giving the site a facelift and is probably making it more like their site.

It's a shame when hard working people with these media sites get let go. I know they put their heart and soul into it over the years.

I wish everyone over there good luck!
