Default WRIF's Screamin' Scott Randall Moves To WCSX As Afternoon Host

    From Radio Insight:

Beasley Media has announced that 101.1 WRIF Detroit evening host ‘Screamin’ Scott Randall will move over to afternoons at Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX.
Randall has been a staple in the Detroit Rock landscape since 1993 spending three years in mornings at “102.7 Z-Rock” WDZR before joining WRIF as night host in 1996. Randall was laid off from WRIF in April 2020 in a budget cut before being brought back to his evening shift in February 2021. Prior to his arrival in Detroit, Randall worked in Lima OH and Fort Wayne IN.
Randall fills the vacancy at WCSX created by Dave Dahmer’s departure in Beasley’s layoffs last fall. Part-time host Aimee Faykosh will fill nights at WRIF on an interim basis until a new host is named.

Beasley Media Group announces Veteran nighttime On Air Personality Screamin? Scott Randall will transition from 101 WRIF-FM to host afternoon drive on Detroit?s Classic Rock station 94.7 WCSX-FM. He will begin his new role on January 3, 2023.
Randall, who has worked at WRIF-FM over the past 25 years, most recently served as the 7pm ? 12 midnight host at the station.
?We didn?t have to look far to find the right person to fill this key daypart on CSX,? said Beasley Media Group Vice President of National Content and Director of Detroit Programming, Scott Jameson. ?He has been a fixture in Detroit?s rock, radio and charitable communities for a quarter century, His knowledge of the format, combined with his positive attitude will help CSX grow in 2023 and beyond!?
WRIF Program Director Jade Springart added, ?This transition comes with mixed emotions. We are so proud and thankful for everything Screamin? Scott has accomplished with WRIF. He started as the overnight jock 26 years ago and has branded himself in the Detroit rock-n-roll scene. All of us down the WRIF hallway wish him the best with his new adventure in afternoon drive at WCSX. Cheers to you, Buzzy!?
Parttime On Air Personality Aimee Faykosh will assume Scott?s WRIF duties on a temporary basis until a permanent replacement has been announced.
