Default Station Sales Week of 12/16

    From Radio Insight:

The Seattle based Iglesia Pentecostal Vesperia del Fin has built a network of Spanish Christian stations along the west coast, but it will now bring its “Tu Familia Radio” east with the purchase of Spanish Christian “Radio Zoe” 1430 WOIR Homestead FL from ERJ Media for $900,000. An LMA of the station, which serves the southern portions of the Miami market, will take effect on Friday, December 16.
Tim Phillips’ Glasgow Media Group will purchase Full Service Country 1240 KLTZ/102.5 K273DB and AC “Mix 93.5” KLAN Glasgow MT from Jann Holter Berntsen’s Glasgow Broadcasting Corp. for $465,000. Phillips has served as Program Director of the stations and morning host of KLAN since 1993 and rose to General Manager in 2020.
Maury County Boosters Association sells Country 1280 WMCP/98.9 W255DK Columbia TN to Catholic operator Radio Maria, Inc. for $405,000. Radio Maria owns eleven non-commercial stations across the south and midwest.
Christian Ministries Inc. will acquire 1490 WFAD/101.1 W266CU Middlebury VT from Northeast Broadcasting for $85,000. WFAD is currently part of Northeast’s statewide AAA “The Point” network based at 104.7 WNCS Montpelier.
In a deal not yet filed with the FCC, Chuck Bergson’s Pacific Media Group will add a fifth station on the Hawaiian island of Kauai with the acquisition of AC “FM 97” 96.9 KFMN Lihue from FM 97 Associates for an undisclosed amount. The company began operating KFMN via Time Brokerage Agreement on December 1 as it joins a cluster that already includes Hot AC “Kong 93.5” KQNG-FM Lihue, Hawaiian CHR “HI 95” KSRF Poipu, Classic Rock “Shaka 103.1” KSHK Hanamaulu, and Country 570 KUAI Eleele/104.5 K283CQ Lihue. Pacific Media Group owns sixteen other stations across Hawaii.
