Default Eddie Haskell Returns To KRST As Midday Host

    From Radio Insight:

Following his departure as Operations Manager and afternoon host from Max Media’s “97.3 The Eagle” WGH-FM Norfolk VA in late July, Eddie Haskell is returning to Albuquerque to host middays on Cumulus Media Country 92.3 KRST.
Haskell previously spent nine years as OM of the then-Citadel Albuquerque cluster and Program Director of KRST from 2004 to 2013. He would later served as PD of 98.5 KYGO Denver from 2013-2016 and Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Fort Collins CO from 2018 to 2020 prior to his move to Norfolk. Before his first stint in Albuquerque, Haskell programmed WYCD Detroit, KKAT-FM Salt Lake City, WXLK Roanoke, and KDJM Denver.
Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that it has named Eddie Haskell as On-Air Host, Middays, for Albuquerque radio station 92.3 KRST Country/KRST-FM. Haskell will be heard on KRST weekdays from 10:00am-3:00pm, beginning September 12, 2022. This is a return to the station for Haskell, who was with KRST from 2004-2013.
Haskell heads to Cumulus Albuquerque from Max Media in Norfolk, VA, where he previously served as VP of Operations and Programming. He has held various programming roles for iHeartMedia in Fort Collins, CO; KYGO-FM in Denver; KKAT-AM in Salt Lake City; and WYCD-FM in the Detroit area.
Bev Rainey, Program Director, KRST-FM, said: “Eddie’s love for Albuquerque and heritage in the market will shine on KRST’s airwaves.”
Kris Abrams, Operations Manager, KRST-FM, commented: “Eddie just has fun on the radio – and he certainly knows KRST and Albuquerque.”
Eddie Haskell remarked: “I could not be more excited to be coming home to KRST. I was dying to get back to Albuquerque and thank Bev Rainey, Kris Abrams, and VP/Market Manager Jeff Berry for making it happen.”
