Default Benny Bash Moves To Y96.9 Colorado Springs As APD/Afternoon Host

    From Radio Insight:

iHeartMedia Country “Y96.9” KCCY Pueblo/Colorado Springs has announced the addition of Benny Bash as APD/afternoon host.
Bash moves over to KCCY from mornings at sister Rock “107.9 KBPI” KBPL Pueblo and local host for “Fox Sports 1350” KUBE. He has previously hosted at “Fox Sports 1580” KREL Colorado Springs and Denver based Mile High Sports Radio.
Bash fills the afternoon slot that had been held by former Program Director Shawn Patrick until his move to KYGO Denver in August.
iHeartMedia Colorado Springs announced today that Benny Bash has been named Assistant Program Director and Afternoon Drive Host for Y96.9, Number One for New Country, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Colorado Springs has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises ? both broadcast and digital ? encompassing more than eight stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Assistant Program Director and Afternoon Drive Host, Benny Bash will report to JoJo Turnbeaugh, Region Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Rockies Region.
?Benny?s love of Country music and Colorado Springs gives us this great opportunity to upgrade afternoons on Y96.9. Let the fun begin,? said JoJo Turnbaugh, Region Senior Vice President of Programming.
Benny Bash transitions to Y96.9 from 107.9 KBPI, where he most recently served as the on-air talent for the morning drive show. He also served as the local sports host for Fox Sports 1350-AM and is a graduate of Colorado State University-Pueblo.
“I am fortunate to have the team and support I have had throughout my career, specifically here at iHeartMedia. I am excited for this opportunity. Now, let?s get to work!? said Benny Bash.
