Emily Boldon Joins Cox As Atlanta Director of Operations, WSB-FM/WSRV Program Director & Corporate Director of AC/Hot AC

After a brief stint in San Antonio as Interim Operations Manager for their San Antonio cluster and Program Director of Rock 99.5 KISS-FM and Classic Rock “106.7 The Eagle” KTKX, Cox Media Group has appointed Emily Boldon as Atlanta Director of Operations, Program Director of Classic Rock “97.1 The River” WSRV and AC “B98.5” WSB-FM, and corporate Director of AC and Hot AC Content.
Boldon joined Cox in July to oversee the San Antonio cluster until a permanent hire was made. She previously had a long run with Cumulus starting in 2006 as Corporate Programming Software Trainer and later served as Vice President of AC & Stratus Music, and Program Director of AC “Lite Rock 105.1” WWLI Providence RI until departing in February of this year. She also has programmed “Rock 103.5” WRCQ Fayetteville NC using the on-air name Sydney Scott.
At Cox, Boldon will fill many of the day-to-day positions held by Chris Eagan until his promotion to corporate VP of Audience and Operations in November 2021. Eagan programmed WSB-FM and WSRV from 2012 to 2021, added AC/Hot AC Format Leader duties in 2016, and Senior Director of Operations for the Atlanta cluster in 2018.
