Grant Merrill and Ben Buckland’s Southwest Media Group will acquire Country 100.3 KOMX, Classic Rock 103.3 KDRL, and Full Service AC 1230 KGRO Pampa TX from James Hughes’ Pampa Broadcasters for $200,000. The buyers are also in the process of buying “Big Country 95.3” KDDD-FM and 800 KDDD Dumas.
Terry Black’s Lake Gem Productions LLC acquires “The Oldies Superstation” 106.7 WPWQ Mount Sterling IL and Classic Country “107.5 The Lake” KWBZ Monroe City MO from Larry Bostwick’s LB Sports Productions LLC for $315,000.
Dan Mueller purchases the 80% of Classic Country 104.9 KBUK and 1570 KVLG La Grange TX he doesn’t own from John Haworth for $650,000.
Tabernacle Christian Schools donates 1540 WTBI Pickens SC to Berea Baptist Broadcasting, Spanish. The donee has been operating WTBI via Time Brokerage Agreement since March 2021.
Translator Sales

Seven Mountains Media acquires 101.7 W269CF Scranton PA from Kevin Fitzgerald for $150,000. The translator is now rebroadcasting Classic Country “Bigfoot Legends” 590 WARM Scranton simulcasting 107.7 WLGD Dallas/Wilkes-Barre to improve the brand’s signal in the Scranton part of the market.
John Fredericks’ Disruptor Radio acquires 107.7 W299DB Richmond VA from Delmarva Educational Association for $200,000. The translator already was rebroadcasting the buyers’ Conservative Talk 820 WJFN Chester.
