Default What happens when you spill coffee into the board...

In Baltimore, 98 Rock's Mickey Cucchiella fries the board by spilling coffee into it while live on the air back in May... here's the audio:

That's funny as hell. Thanks for posting that.

I once took a big swig of coffee & felt something crawling in my mouth. I spit a mouthful of coffee (& a large, LIVE spider) onto the log and the front of the board. My co-host was amused by the situation 'til the spider headed her way. Luckily I was able to wipe the board before anything seeped into the electronics.

I had something similar happen to me a couple of weeks ago, though I don't know if this was completely my fault.

I accidentally spilled a small amount (a tablespoon or two) of tea on the computer keyboard in the studio. I mopped up what I could and everything seemed fine.

A few hours later, I noticed the space bar stopped working. Popping it out and cleaning out the dust underneath it didn't get it working again. A few other keys stopped working as well. When I turned the computer off to reboot it, it wouldn't come back on.

The computer was a few years old, so it's hard to tell if my spill caused this or if the computer was about to break down anyway.
