Max Media has completed stunting and flipped CHR “Hot 107.1” KFCO Bennett/Denver back to Classic Hip Hop “Flo 107.1” at 7am this morning.
Now positioning as “Back N’ Tha Day & Today”, the station launched with Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg “Nuthin’ But A G Thang”, Juvenile “Back That Azz Up”, and Ludacris “Southern Hospitality”.
The station has also announced that Adrian ‘A.D.’ Scott has joined as Operations Director. Scott previously programmed Classic Hip Hop 93.5 KDAY Los Angeles from 2005 to 2017. The station has yet to announce plans for its on-air lineup.
KFCO previously was Classic Hip Hop from December 2015 until shifting to Rhythmic CHR in June 2018.

Original Report 8/10: Max Media CHR “Hot 107.1” KFCO Bennett/Denver CO has dropped the 16 month old brand and has entered stunt mode ahead of a new format launch.
KFCO began stunting at 5pm this evening as “Flip 107.1” with promos teasing different genres and a new format launch on Thursday.
KFCO’s flip follows iHeartMedia’s relaunch of their CHR “95.7 The Party” to “Hits 95.7” in mid-July after a stunt of its own.
KFCO had shifted from Hip Hop “Flo 107.1” to CHR in May 2020. It held a mere 0.6 share in the July 2021 Nielsen Audio ratings trailing KPTT’s 2.3 share. The station previously utilized the Hot moniker with a CHR and later Dance format from 2009 to 2012.
