Following the departure of Rick Thomas for an undisclosed position at the end of 2020, Max Media of Denver has promoted Senen ‘Slim’ Rodriguez to Program Director and Alvin ‘DJ A-Rich’ Richardson to APD/MD for Rhythmic Oldies “JAMMIN’ 101.5” KJHM Watkins and CHR “HOT 107.1” KFCO Bennett CO.
Rodriguez has served as Production Director at the cluster since 2010 and has hosted afternoons at KFCO through its current “HOT 107.1” and former Classic Hip Hop and Rhythmic CHR “FLO 107.1” incarnations as well as evening host on KJHM. He began his career in his native San Francisco at KMEL and KYLD working on the street team before a stint as part of the morning show. He moved to Denver in 2001 and spent nine years in nights at “KS 107.5” KQKS.
Richardson began his career as Slim’s intern at KQKS in 2005 and hosted weekends for five years before jumping to Max Media in 2011 to host middays on the first incarnation of “HOT 107.1” in 2011. He hosted nights and previously served as APD during the station’s incarnation as “FLO 107.1“.
