    Default Cheyenne's Country Consolidation

    From Radio Insight:

Ahead of an upcoming format change at “106.3 Cowboy Country” KLEN Cheyenne WY, the Townsquare Media station has begun simulcasting co-owned Country “Y95” KCGY Laramie.
KCGY’s coverage encompasses all of Cheyenne and much of southeast Wyoming. The move removes one station from a crowded format battle that includes iHeartMedia’s combo of 100.7 KOLT-FM and “Big 97.9” KXBG, the latter of which despite being licensed to Cheyenne focuses most of its content on the adjacent Fort Collins CO market.
KLEN’s Class A signal had a 2.4 share in the Spring 2020 Nielsen Audio ratings, trailing KOLT-FM’s 7.1 share. Neither KCGY or KXBG were listed in the publicly available numbers due to primarily serving areas outside the market.
