KDVR's Ron Zappolo visits KUSA today

In a thing that makes you go, hmmmm.... KUSA's Kevin Torres posted a pic on his Facebook page of KDVR's Ron Zappolo as he visited KUSA today... could he be going back to 9News? Zappolo has previously announced his intention to step down as news anchor at KDVR and return to sports coverage in March 2013 when his contract expires.

Make you wonder doesn't it Rob? Considering KDVR has enough sports casters, I don;t think there is room for him. it is interesting that he would go and visit KUSA after all these years. Makes one wonder why he was visiting KUSA?

I think KUSA would be very smart to pick him up. A lot of their reporters/anchors keep moving on and some of the new ones I've seen aren't very good. Maybe put him on their 9pm news on Channel 20...

With the turn over at 9news it makes me wonder, when did Denver become a stepping stone market? Reminds me of markets like Columbus, Ohio where there is constant turn around and only a few veteran anchors anymore.
