Possible Entercom Layoffs

RadioInsight.com sent out a tweet at 8:39 this morning saying, "Best wishes to everyone at Entercom. Hearing another round of major staff cutbacks ongoing." I couldn't find any more information on their web site.

Update: "Entercom Makes Cuts At Alternative & Country Stations In Move Towards Regionalizing Operations"

Entercom has begun another round of programming cuts today.

These cuts will be focused primarily on Program Directors and on-air talent at Alternative and Country formats with the beginning of a move towards regionalizing their operations. We’re told that midday and evening on-air shifts will be either regionalized or made national.
