KCCY 1350 AM Returns To Sports

Thirteen months after dropping Sports in favor of Classic Country, Clear Channel’s 1350 KCCY Pueblo, CO is once again “Fox Sports 1350“.
Running the network lineup in its entirety, the return of the old format places the station in direct competition with “ESPN 1580” KREL. KCCY previously held a Sports format utilizing Fox Sports Radio until April 2010 under the KDZA call letters.

CLEAR CHANNEL Classic Country KCCY-A/PUEBLO has flipped formats, now airing sports programming as "FOX SPORTS AM 1350."

Their website, 1350kccy.com now redirects to foxsportspueblo.com, however their FACEBOOK page, which has not been updated since THURSDAY, MAY 9th, still contains their old logo and Country music related posts.

The station had only returned to PUEBLO one year ago (NET NEWS 4/13/12) when CLEAR CHANNEL Regional Programming Manager PAUL KELLEY had made the announcement that they would be a Classic Country format. The new Sports format puts KCCY-A in direct competition with PILGRIM COMMUNICATIONS Sports KREL-A (1580 THE GAME)/COLORADO SPRINGS.
