Default Cumulus stations in Colorado Springs on edge of fire evac area

Cumulus Media stations in Colorado Springs (KKPK 92.9 FM, KATC 95.1 FM, KKFM 98.1 FM, KKMG 98.9 FM, KVOR 740 AM, KCSF 1300 AM) are on the edge of the Waldo Canyon fire evacuation area near Woodman and I-25. They have received special permission from the city's fire chief to be able to remain on cite for now. They have set up a stand by location just in case they need to move which is the production room at the Bahakel stations (KILO 94.3 FM, KRXP 103.9 FM) studios on E. Cheyenne Rd.

    92.9 is actually KKPK.

    Exclamation

Well even if they have to evacuate the studios, they can still broadcast from a remote location (In fact, KVOR even referred to possibly doing this if they had to)

Thanks I'll correct it. Old habits die hard.

I just heard that the Cumulus radio stations in Colorado Springs are offering free ad time for local businesses displaced or closed by the Waldo Canyon fire. Very cool!
