Default Denver AM & FM Translator For Sale... Mile High Sports KDCO?

I just saw this here: https://www.radiotvdeals.com/

    Denver Full-Market AM & FX Full-Time and Non-Directional

Here is the very best way to cover Denver, Market #19, at the lowest possible cost! 24 hour non-directional FULL-METRO AM coverage with a newly upgraded full-power FULL-METRO FM translator. DOUBLE YOUR PLEASURE with over 2.6 million POPS on each station! Contact the broker, Cliff Gardiner.

The only non-directional AM with translator that covers full metro Denver and has recently upgraded that I can think of is Mile High Sports KDCO 1340 AM/104.7 FM...

That's interesting, if it truly is the 104.7 translator & 1340 AM. The description certainly fits. This follows the opening up of 104.7 to a fuller market signal, when KOMF/Denver Open Media left the frequency last January. I wonder if they intended to sell the combo all along, instead of retaining ownership. The actual owner is 4-K's LLLP.

They have a history of doing this... they did it with KCKK 1510AM/93.7FM and before that with KDCO 1550AM/94.1FM.

My GUESS is they will sell, then buy KCKK 1510AM, and then work on adding a Denver FM translator to it again.

From what I read HERE, they picked up 1340 AM, 104.7 FM and the now donated 92.9 FM for only $464,000.

I bet they are asking at least $1,500,000 for 1340 AM/104.7 FM with the upgraded FM translator signal. Plus, they probably got a tax write off for donating 92.9 FM.

They could probably get KCKK for cheap at this point. Then work out with their buddy Vic Michael to move in another translator if there's a place on the dial left in Denver.
