From All Access:
ALL ACCESS has confirmed that iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk KOA-A-K231BQ-K231AA/DENVER evening host MICHAEL BROWN has exited the station.
BROWN, the former FEMA Director immortalized as the "BROWNIE" referenced by then-President GEORGE W. BUSH in the remark "Heckuva job, BROWNIE" despite FEMA's failures in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, joined KOA in 2010 for evenings, then moved to sister News-Talk KHOW-A in 2012 to co-host afternoons with DAVID SIROTA, then solo in afternoons before taking over evenings with "THE HECKUVA SHOW WITH MICHAEL BROWN" 7-8p (CT) on KOA last NOVEMBER.
PD GREG FOSTER told ALL ACCESS, “We will be announcing a new KOA live and local evening show in the coming weeks.” KOA's evening shows are frequently preempted during the baseball season by COLORADO ROCKIES play-by-play.
