    COMMUNITY RADIO PROJECT noncommercial Variety KSJD/CORTEZ, CO has hired recent MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY graduate DANIEL RAYZEL as the new local morning anchor/host for NPR's "MORNING EDITION."

    RAYZEL, who served as News Director and hosted an Americana show at MSU student-run WDBM (IMPACT 89FM)/EAST LANSING and produced for MICHIGAN RADIO, will join KSJD on JUNE 7th and begin on the air JUNE 18th. He replaces AUSTIN COPE, who is leaving to move to INDIA.

    Also exiting KSJD is reporter GAIL BINKLY, whose last day at the station will be JUNE 15th.
