    Condolences to family and friends of veteran PHOENIX, LOS ANGELES, and DENVER TV sports anchor and play-by-play announcer and radio golf show host GARY CRUZ, who died THURSDAY morning (3/8) after a battle with cancer at 68.

    CRUZ, best known for stints at CBS affiliate KPHO-TV (CBS 5)/PHOENIX, independent KCAL-TV/LOS ANGELES, and ABC affiliate KMGH-TV and NBC affiliate KUSA-TV/DENVER, most recently co-hosted "BACKSPIN THE GOLF SHOW" on iHEARTMEDIA Sports KGME-A (FOX SPORTS 910)/PHOENIX and CUMULUS Sports KCUB-A (1290 AM THE SOURCE)/TUCSON and co-owned PR firm CRUZWOOD COMMUNICATIONS with RYAN WOODCOCK.
