    From RadioInsight
Tamara Gant has announced her exit from her position as producer/co-host of the syndicated Michael Baisden Show to join Entercom AC “101.5 Lite-FM” WLYF Miami as morning co-host starting Monday, January 22. The move to WLYF will reunite her with incumbent co-host Julie Guy, where they were known as “Those 2 Girls in The Morning” on Cox Media Group AC “97.3 The Coast” WFLC from 2006 to 2012. New WLYF Program Director Andy Holt served as WFLC Program Director during part of that timeframe. No word on the status of Guy’s current co-host Evelyn Curry. Doug Podell, who exited afternoons at Beasley Media Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX Detroit in November after 23 years with the company, has joined Cumulus Country “Nash-FM 93.1” WDRQ for weekends starting January 27. Leeana Costa has “retired” as morning co-host at Connoisseur Media AC “K98.3” WKJY Hempstead NY alongside Steve Harper after six and a half years to take a job at a non-profit. United Stations Radio Networks’ syndicated Billy Madison Show based at Cox Media Group 99.5 KISS San Antonio has announced three new affiliates. The show will now air in nights at Hearst Rock “98 Rock” WIYY Baltimore and mornings at Western Rockies Radio’s “95.3 The X” K237DZ/KDXT-HD2 Missoula MT and Lotus Communications’ “Rock 102.1” KFMA Oro Valley/Tucson AZ. iHeartMedia News/Talk 1420 WOC Davenport IA has announced the addition of Dave Lavora to host its “AM Quad Cities” morning show. Lavora has previously worked in the market at “Planet 93.5” KORB-FM, “97 Rock” WXLP and “Rock 104.9” KBOB-FM and will continue to host “Quad Cities Brewed” for WQAD-TV. VARTV reports that former “98.9 Magic-FM” KKMG Colorado Springs Program Director Nikki Landry has joined Entercom Norfolk in an unknown on-air role. Landry previously worked in the market at Country “97.3 The Eagle” WGH-FM in the late 90s/early 2000s.
