    iHeartMedia Country “US 103.5” WFUS Gulfport/Tampa FL has named Cindy Spicer as its Program Director. Spicer joins WFUS from sister 99.1 WQIK Jacksonville where she has served as as PD/Midday Host since 2012. Prior to that she served as APD/MD and later Program Director at “New Country 95.7” KUSS San Diego. Spicer has also worked on-air at KLOL Houston, “Star 94.1” KMYI, “Q106” KKLQ, and 101.5 KGB-FM San Diego as well as voicetracking nationally for Clear Channel. Spicer will supplant Tommy Chuck as WFUS Program Director. Chuck remains in place as Senior Vice President of Programming for the iHeartMedia Tampa Bay cluster. iHeartMedia’s US103.5, Tampa Bay’s No. 1 for New Country, announced today that Cindy Spicer has been named Program Director, effective February 19. Spicer will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee US103.5’s on-air content, digital footprint and music programming. She will report to Tommy Chuck, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Tampa Bay. “I could not be more excited for Cindy to join our team at US103.5,” said Tommy Chuck, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Tampa Bay. “Cindy has a track record of incredible success and I am excited to watch her dominate Tampa Bay!” Spicer previously served as the Program Director and on-air personality for WQIK in Jacksonville, FL. She has worked as a Program Director and on-air talent for KUSS in San Diego. Cindy received her Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Colorado, Denver. “Thank you to the entire iHeartMedia team in Jacksonville for the last 6 years,” said Spicer. “I am so excited for the opportunity to be a part of US 103.5 and the amazing team in Tampa Bay.
