Default CBS4 names Britt Moreno to replace Brooke Wagner

    From The Denver Post:

CBS4 names Britt Moreno morning anchor

CBS4 has named Britt Moreno morning and noon anchor alongside Alan Gionet. After dropping Brooke Wagner from the anchor spot, the station has named Moreno as her morning anchor replacement. Moreno will co-anchor with Gionet on the “CBS4 Morning News” at 5 a.m. and 6 a.m., and “CBS4 News at Noon” beginning in early April.

The bilingual Moreno was previously a weekend morning anchor at KSAZ-TV, the Fox TV affiliate in Phoenix, since 2010. Prior to KSAZ-TV, Moreno worked at KRGV-TV in south Texas as a general assignment reporter. She is originally from Austin.
CBS4 is making changes to address its struggle in the morning rating race, after finishing dead last in the November sweeps, 6-7 a.m.
