Is iHEARTMEDIA Sports KDSP-A-K300CP (DENVER SPORTS 760)/DENVER going all-in on DENVER BRONCOS talk? ALL ACCESS has been hearing talk that the station will rebrand as "ORANGE AND BLUE 760" with programming focusing on the NFL team (which airs its games on sister News-Talk KOA-A-K231BQ), and a logo to that effect has popped up in social media.
The DENVER POST is also reporting that the station will be doing 24/7 BRONCOS talk starting THURSDAY, replacing its predominantly FOX SPORTS RADIO lineup with local shows. ALL ACCESS has not received a reply to a request for comment from station management.

Default KDSP Denver To Becomes All-Broncos Orange & Blue Radio

    From Radio Insight:

    From RadioInsight
iHeartMedia’s “Denver Sports 760” KDSP/107.9 K300CP Denver will relaunch on Thursday as “Orange & Blue Radio” focusing completely on the NFL’s Denver Broncos. As first reported by the Denver Post, the station will become a 50/50 partnership between the Broncos and iHeartMedia with a new studio being built at the team’s Dove Valley headquarters. iHeart’s News/Talk 850 KOA and Classic Rock “103.5 The Fox” KRFX serve as the flagship stations for the Broncos. The station’s lineup has not been announced yet but will feature former Broncos tackle Tyler Polumbus, who will also be joining the team’s gameday broadcasts as a sideline reporter. KOA afternoon host Dave Logan and KRFX morning host/KOA afternoon co-host Rick Lewis serve as the play-by-play announcers. KDSP flipped from “Real Talk 760” KKZN to Sports in January 2016. It is currently one of five Sports stations in the Denver market and registered a mere 0.1 share in the June 2017 Nielsen Audio ratings. The station currently carries Fox Sports Radio network programming and a local afternoon show hosted by KOA’s Andy Lindahl from 4-6pm. INSTANT INSIGHT:While a few NFL franchises have partnerships with HD Radio subchannels or have streaming programming, “Orange & Blue Radio” will be the first terrestrial Sports station to focus on just one sport and franchise. With four other Sports stations in the market, and having the partnership with the Broncos already in place, this move gives KDSP a way to make its programming unique as well as giving iHeart a product for its iHeartRadio streaming app that could drive streams from Broncos fans living outside Denver.

Well, I think that could b e a great idea, but how are they going to fill up the programming all day M-F from Sun up to Sun down and even the weekends?
Even on their off season after football ends for the season? I doubt it if this well help their ratings at all, it is good for their football season, but after that?

I think trying anything will help since they only had a 0.1 in the latest ratings and that's hard to sell to advertisers.
Filling up the time will be a challenge since there's only so much they can talk about...
I'm sure we will all get to know each player's most intimate thoughts. LOL

Look for them to go back to their old format if the Broncos tank during the regular season or next February/March when the season is over.

I can only laugh at this! Iheart wasting money, wow! Sure lets become an all broncos radio station and see what we can come up with! I am not to sure the can get enough advertisers with idea!
To have a new stuido over there? Sure is going to be very quite after the season ends in December! They need to just go back playing music, that is the simplest thing in the world for them to do!
This won't last it just won't. Like the players have time to talk all the time?
