iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk KOA-A-K231BQ/DENVER has signed the radio voices of the COLORADO ROCKIES, JACK CORRIGAN and JERRY SCHEMMEL, to multi-year contract renewals. KOA has the NATIONAL LEAGUE club's radio rights through 2021, as it has since the team's 1993 inception.
“Coming to DENVER after a long stint in my hometown of CLEVELAND, I didn’t know what to expect. The past 14 seasons have been beyond great, thanks to KOA, the ROCKIES, and, most especially, the fans,” said CORRIGAN. “I am humbled by this new contract, and I look forward to working with JERRY to bring the best baseball coverage for the ROCKY MOUNTAIN region for many years to come.”
"I am thrilled to be back doing the ROCKIES games,” said SCHEMMEL. “My relationship with iHEARTMEDIA and the ROCKIES has been tremendous in the seven years I've been doing the games. I'm looking forward to more."
“I couldn’t be more excited to continue the great partnership we have with JACK and JERRY, who I truly believe are the best in the business,” said iHEARTMEDIA DENVER Region President TIM HAGER. “Game-in and game-out, they deliver a top-notch broadcast, and their dedication to the ROCKIES organization, our listeners and advertisers is second-to-none.”
