iHeartMedia Makes Lineup Changes At KOA, KHOW, and KBPI Denver

KOA (NewsRadio 850 AM andamp; 94.1 FM) Denver debuts "The Heckuva Show with Michael Brown," airing weekday nights from 7-8pm, effective November 7. Brown's "Heckuva Show" will cover top headlines and will feature Colorado stories and news. Initially, the program will air for one hour and beginning Monday, December 3, and then expand from 7-11pm.
In addition, the new "Caplis and Kafer" show will air weekday afternoons on iHeartMedia sister KHOW-AM (TalkRadio 630) from 4-7pm, also effective on November 7.

iHEARTMEDIA/DENVER is about to debut new shows at its two Talk properties. THE HECKUVA SHOW WITH MICHAEL BROWN will air 7-8p on KOA (NEWSRADIO 850 AM & 94.1 FM. On sister Talk KHOW (TALKRADIO 630), the new CAPLIS AND KAFER SHOW will air in afternoon drive. Both shows debut on NOVEMBER 7th.
HECKUVA SHOW WITH MICHAEL BROWN will cover today’s top headlines and will feature exclusive COLORADO stories and news. The show will expand to 7-11p on MONDAY, DECEMBER 3rd. The CAPLIS AND KAFER SHOW will feature top local stories and news that impact listeners daily lives. In addition, the duo will interact and engage with listeners, keeping the community up to date on everything COLORADO.

iHeartMedia has revamped the on-air lineups at News/Talk 850 KOA Denver/94.1 K231BQ Golden, Conservative Talk 630 KHOW Denver and Rock 107.9 KBPI Fort Collins/KBPL Pueblo/K300CP Denver are realigning their on-air lineups. KHOW afternoon host Michael Brown is moving to evenings at KOA from 7-8pm replacing “Prime Time Sports with Cory Lopez”. “The Huckuva Show with Micahel Brown” will then expand to 7-11pm on Monday, December 3. The program will exclusively feature Colorado stories and news.
Replacing Brown at KHOW is Dan Caplis and Krista Kafer. A local lawyer, Caplis most recently hosted afternoons at Salem Media’s 710 KNUS Denver while Kafer is a columnist for the Denver Post.
Finally at KBPI, longtime afternoon host Colfax has exited. Midday host Beardo moves to afternoons while Hot AC “My 99.9” KVUU Pueblo/Colorado Springs afternoon host Laura Hall is currently hosting middays.
