Telemundo Denver Adds Sports Anchor, Announces 4 P.M.
    From TV Spy:

    Attachment 849

KDEN Telemundo Denver has hired Erasmo Provenza as a sports anchor for Noticiero Telemundo Denver.

Starting today, Provenza joins Pamela Padilla and Carlos Rausseo, weather anchor Ariel Rivera Vázquez at 4:30, 5 and 10 p.m.

“With Erasmo’s vast experience in the sports arena, Noticiero Telemundo Denver will take the sports coverage to a level that has never been seen before in Spanish-language television in Colorado,” said news director Pedro Calderón Michel.

Provenza joins Telemundo Denver from Meridiano Television in Venezuela, where he had been a sports anchor since 2007. He’s also worked as Communications Manager for pro soccer teams in Venezuela, including Real ESPPOR.

Telemundo Denver also says it is launching a 30-minute newscast at 4:00 p.m. beginning Monday, September 26.
