Mike Kennedy Named Wilks VP/Country Programming - Including KWOF 92.5 FM Denver

WILKS BROADCASTING has elevated KBEQ/KANSAS CITY PD MIKE KENNEDY to VP/Country Programming for the company.

In addition to KBEQ, WILKS' Country portfolio includes KANSAS CITY clustermate KFKF, KWOF/DENVER, WHOK/COLUMBUS, OH, KWFP/RENO and KLLL/LUBBOCK, TX.

WILKS EVP/Programming JEFF SANDERS said of KENNEDY, “MIKE has been programming KBEQ since 1992, and part of the morning team since 2001. He comes with a wealth of programming knowledge and a very strong relationship with NASHVILLE.”

KENNEDY will report directly to SANDERS.

“As we embark on year number 23 at KBEQ I can't tell you how excited I am to now have the challenge of working with, learning from and growing our group of WILKS Country stations,” said KENNEDY. “We have some bright, talented and experienced teammates on our country stations and I can't wait to do all I can to help us grow and move forward!!
