In January, KRCC 91.5 publicly announced the purchase of a larger building to house the station.

The new location is a block west and two blocks south of the current location, an 1890s Victorian house at 912 N. Weber. No exact date for the move was given, just "in the coming months."

Also, with the coming of a local CPR affiliate, KRCC is tweaking its schedule to only feature music from 7 PM-midnight daily and news/NPR programs the rest of the day.

Vicky's morning music show will move to 7-10 PM weeknights, the "Blue Plate Special" will be on Saturdays from 7-8 PM, and the jazz show will move from Thursdays to Sunday nights from 7-10. Saturday's "Vintage Voltage" (8-10 PM) and Sunday night's reggae show (10-midnight) will remain at their current times.

Also, "A Prairie Home Companion" will return to KRCC on Saturdays. The station had dropped the show after Garrison Keillor retired.
