Brad Hansen is joining Cumulus Media as FM Operations Manager of the company’s Albuquerque cluster and Program Director of Country “92.3 Nash-FM” KRST, Classic Country “96.3 Nash Icon” KBZU, and Variety Hits “103.3 Ed-FM” KDRF.
Hansen joins Cumulus from Kroenke Sports & Entertainment Country “92.5 The Wolf” KWOF Denver where he served as Program Director since April 2014. He previously served as OM for iHeartMedia’s Fort Collins cluster and has programmed in Austin, Reno and Springfield MO.
In addition to the three stations he will program, Hansen will also oversee operations at CHR “93.3 KOB-FM” KKOB-FM and AC “99.5 Magic-FM” KMGA. He succeeds Kris Abrams who joined Futuri Media last month as Director of Partner Integration.
Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed Brad Hansen as FM Operations Manager of Cumulus Media-Albuquerque and Program Director of KRST/NASH FM 92.3, KBZU/NASH Icon and KDRF/eD-FM. Hansen is a seasoned radio programmer and was previously Program Director of Country station KWOF/92.5The WOLF in Denver. Prior to that, Hansen was Operations Manager for Clear Channel/iHeart Media in Fort Collins, CO, and served as Program Director for stations in Reno, NV (Citadel/Cumulus); Springfield, MO (Journal Broadcast Group); and Austin, TX (Clear Channel/IHeart Media), where he programmed KASE-FM and KVET-FM.
