Ed Sardella, longtime anchor of KUSA’s newscasts in the ’70s-90s when the station was at its ratings peak, will come out of retirement for one night only to moderate a public TV panel discussion on education reform.
The program, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, on CPT12 (KBDI-Channel 12) will tackle the topic after a screening of filmmaker Brian Malone’s new documentary, “Education, Inc.” A trailer for the film is here (http://edincmovie.com/).
The panel of local activists he’ll moderate, in addition to Malone, includes Independence Institute President Jon Caldara, One Chance Colorado Executive Director James Coleman, Chalkbeat Colorado Deputy Bureau Chief Nic Garcia and Colorado Education Association Vice President Amie Baca-Oehlert.
