The three local hosts at Crawford Broadcasting Conservative Talk “560 The Source” KLZ Denver submitted their resignations as a . 5-8am host Randy Corporon, 1-3pm host Ken Clark, and 3-6pm host Kris Cook gave 30 day notice to Crawford Broadcasting President/KLZ General Manager Don Crawford, Jr. but were told their services were no longer needed. The trio exited after Corporon’s show was pulled for interviewing former Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo last Thursday.

Crawford had requested that Tancredo’s frequent appearances on KLZ be halted until he could meet him and talk about his role in the scandal surround him and Colorado Republican Party Chairman Steve House. The Denver Post reports that House claimed Tancredo and two others “threatened that a potential lawsuit may be filed and that false rumors that I have been unfaithful to my wife would be made public” if he didn’t resign, which they disputed.

Crawford Broadcasting owns three other AM’s in the Denver market with various Christian formats.

The company has purged KLZ’s website, while the station continues to run syndicated Conservative Talkers including Laura Ingraham and Dana Loesch and brokered consumer shows from 10am-1pm

DENVER – Three conservative talk show hosts on KLZ 560 AM resigned, claiming station management interfered with their coverage of a coup attempt inside the Colorado Republican Party.

Randy Corporon, Ken Clark and Kris Cook submitted letters of resignation to KLZ parent company Crawford Broadcasting, according to a joint statement issued by the radio hosts.
