Wilks has been granted a construction permit (http://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/pubacc/prod/app_list.pl?Facility_id=59597) with the FCC on June 8th for KIMN 100.3 FM to move/change their antenna on Mount Morrison. And increase their ERP from 97,000 to 98,600 watts.
From what I can see, this change will result in their signal coverage area being smaller (like 1-10 miles smaller, at the most) , even with the power increase.

After reading the complete application, it looks like the Mount Morrison site owner is constructing a replacement tower just northeast of their current tower location. The new antenna that KIMN will use, will be shared with KUVO 89.3 FM, KCFR 88.1 FM, and KXKL 105.1 FM. No word on if any of the other stations coverages will be affected.

I changed the name of this thread to better reflect what is going on...

More news for the new tower:
KCFR 88.1 FM has applied with the FCC to move to the new tower and raise their ERP from 4.5kW to 6.05kW. It looks like this change will improve KCFR's coverage a little.
