It's another retrans battle, as Direct TV is threatening to drop KOAA-5 from their lineup come January 1st, per their programming crawl prior to the 6 PM newscast and the banner ad on KOAA.com

Update: Sorry, there's no link to today's Pueblo Chieftain's story on the subject because you have to subscribe to read the whole article. But, KOAA's GM was quoted in the article as saying something to the effect of that for less than a dime a day, DirecTV subs could be watching KOAA programming.
By my estimation, KOAA is valuing their programming for retrans around $2.50 to $3.00 per subscriber.
