iHEARTMEDIA Active Rock KBPI/DENVER is doing another home remodel for charity. Following in the footsteps of 2013's "Grandma's House" promotion, in which the station arranged over $80,000 in decades-delayed renovations to the house of a woman who had to raise her grandchildren after her daughter was murdered, "Hammers and Angels" will overhaul the home of a handicapped girl to allow her the ability to use the house without having to be carried.
The station kicked off the new promotion TODAY (11/15) on WILLIE B's morning show; the work will be done at the home of DONNA LARSEN and ALEXANDREA HAGINS in THORNTON, CO, which will be remodeled with the help of listener donations and the aid of several contractors and companies donating their labor and supplies. The unveiling will take place at noon on FRIDAY (12/19).
