KWRP 690 and translator on 100.3 in Pueblo now going by Cruisin' 100.3 and AM 690.

KIQN country now identifying as 93.9 KIQ'N Country. 106.9 is simulcasting for now w/ reminders to reset radios to 93.9. Also simulcast on 94.7 KFVR.

In the Springs, 1040 KCBR now "Tailgate 98.5" playing a Jack format on steroids...disco, country, soul, apparently no rules and promoting itself as such.

1530 KCMN is still "I-25 Radio Network" sounding very much the orphan, running promos for former partner AM 690.

Will at least some radio excitement going on in Southern Colorado, and KCBR does have a fb page and a webpage to! But sadly their streaming doesn't seem to be working at all!

KCMN is being sold by United States CP LLC to Kona Coast Radio LLC. So that's probably why it sounds like an orphan. KCMN will also have a translator at 99.3 FM in the Springs soon if the FCC approves an application to move that translator to Cheyenne Mountain.

KCBR 1040 AM (aka Tailgate 98.5) has a website at: http://tailgate98.com/

United States CP launched Variety Hits “Tailgate 98” in Colorado Springs earlier this month. Airing on 1040 KCBR Monument and 98.5 K253AH Colorado Springs, the format replaced Talk “I-25 Talk” on KCBR. The new format is branded as “All The Great Party Songs” with a mix of Pop, Rock, Dance, and Country. It duplicates a similar format launched earlier this year in Charleston, WV. Tailgate launched with an airstaff including former KKFM middayer Gina Kavali in mornings, DJ Michaels in afternoons, and Big Mike Gomez at night.

While 1040 is running Tailgate 98.5, 1530 continues the zombie-cast of I-25 Radio Network, complete with outdated promos for Lee Daniels'(?) talk show on 1480 Pueblo from 11 to 1 middays. 1480 has been Spanish for the last year or more.

This begs the question: is Vic Michael a zombie?
