So they are trying again? I remember having a decision with the owner of KIMX, and we both agree it was not a good idea, and by the looks of the map, the area is way to small to do anything with. So I am wondering if this is a repeater to rebroadcast KIMX from Laramie for some odd reason? Seriously there is no good enough reason for them to even do this again? It makes no sense what so ever to even construct such a tower?

Nice to see that my reply got deleted, what the heck?
FIrst off, what is the point on this move? It is very small area, they are not going to get many commercials on it to say the least. Plus they are doing just fine in Laramie. Do they really want to kill that
station? By looking at the map, who would be able to tune in to a station in the middle of no were land? I am thinking this is a repeater or something? I don't see any reason for them to build this, infact this was
brought up a few years ago, and I thought they ditched the whole silly idea of building this tower?

It looks like they have been trying to move it since 2007. I'm guessing that if they do move, they think that they can get move advertising revenue. And/or inch it closer into Ft. Collins, or even into Denver. And get upgrades in signal approved.

What was deleted Radiodude? I didn't delete anything.

I just looked at Radio-locator, and I saw KIMX there and it seems like their new Transmitter is going to be more powerful then one ever thought..
The Effective Radiated Power well be 4,300 Watts down from 4,800 watts from what it is now. That means from looking at the coverage map

595

So it well be covering all of Laramier county but up north they well be out of luck. I just can't believe they going to do this? Move it from Laramie to Laramier county?
